Boxhead: what timing was used for yours? Do you know what your exact time was?

Will update the boards based on the response from Matt.

Well done Russman - setting some very quick times.

Nice one Martin! Wish I could have joined you out there at Calder yesterday... got a few little things I gotta fix up on her before tracking her again :(

Any idea what speed you were hitting on the straight? I seem to recall 220 when I was there, but after speaking to others that seems a little high...

saw 220+ on the speedo a bit b4 the end of the main straight.

Race chrono GPS however said 206 max....

Dougmo: Were you the Martini racing S13? Think I waved to you as you left. Great to see the S-Chassis Represent. Regarding boot denting, I made up braces for mine as I had the same problem, two very rough notched out hat sections.

My claim to fame is beating that Red 370z that was there with the huge brakes and carbon bits all over it. :D

Good work guys. You should both be happy with those times.

Dougmo... Are 225's all you can fit under it?

Thanks Russ. I'm pretty pleased given my previous PB was set on RE55s (albeit old ones) and I managed to go 3 tenths faster on 595 RS-Rs which are not an R comp. Plus I hadn't been at the track for over 12mths until 2 weeks ago and this is only my second time on these tyres so still working out pressures etc.

I'm not sure about Dougmo's setup but with my setup I can fit 235's all round on 8" front and 9" rear rims with very ordinary offsets and no guard rolling/spacers etc. I do however occasionally scrub the inner wheel arch plastics on the front through the left handed sweeper.

Pretty sure an S13 will take wider rears too.

budget racing russ, a friend gave me the 16x7" rims and the tyres are from a tarmac rally car that we fitted new tyres too, I normally run 205/55 16sDrugs_0541.gif

I really would love some bigger rubber under it, my times would topple Im sure, but I try not to spend on this car as I still havent finished my evo

Dan yes that was me in the black one mate, your car looked great on track

Russ: 32s is fantastic! What next? Targa or something?

Dougmo: Cheers mate, I need to see some outside shots of the car so I can check its attitude through corners, it feels like it's got a bit too much roll still. Budget racing for the win, I'm the same, do all my own work etc. S13s are a bloody good base for it.
