Gees it seems you have to crack a sub 1:07 at Wakefield to get into top 10.

I remember when my goal was sub 1:10!!!! That was only 18mths ago.

How quickly lap times change!

hehe, when I said I was going to aim for sub 1:10 in an n/a Silvia people said it was impossible :P (1:12s were pretty good back then for a road registered car, and there were a few of the faster people doing 9's)

Well done nismoman that's a great effort.

Make any changes or just drive it faster?

Thanks mate, it was a wild ride!

No changes except for FRP bonnet and it didn't feel any faster than before, but I think I just drove the car better.

I focused on reducing wheel spin and kept it straighter on the exit of corners. No real secret but it seems to have worked.

know it's not a natsoft time but you might have the wakefield times around the wrong way

Sorry, which lap time are you referring to?

Jacky's time of 1:05.64 is in position number 2. Its quicker than Mat's time however it is not a Natsoft time.

Even though a vid has been posted there is no way to 'measure' the lap. To count, Jacky really should post a pic of the lap timer.

I see it now. I'm pretty sure I put in his natsoft time of 1:06.11 hence why it was at position no.3.

Anyway. no offence to Jacky, but when it's that close at the top, I was thinking it's better to have natsoft times to go off.

My lap timer says a 1:06.33 but I didn't post it up as it didn't make natsoft times.

Yeah, I agree that we should be using natsoft times if we want an accurate leader board.

I've been missing you at the supersprint rounds jono. Just when I get up to speed you sell your car!

There's 2-3 others with S14, S15 and 180SX that have turned up to the odd couple of rounds and they are also getting up to speed.

The secret is out and everyone is catching on.

So in short, hurry up and make it back out! :thumb:

Times updated.

Yeah the times are getting seriously quick - it's amazing how much quicker people have gotten in the last year or two.

Jonosx - if the S14 isn't sold, what are ya waiting for?? Get it out there!

Hahaha! Thanks Nathan! Yes new PB, into 1:46's now so very happy.

Proper wing would be awesome. Car is in need of some kind of aero parts as it currently has zero.

My car has lots of advertising space so if any companies out there are wanting some exposure at state supersprint events pm me!

Well done nismoman, with some aero parts you'll doing 45's for sure.

Need to get some A050's on there and some aero mods and then bring on the 44's maybe even a high 43!!! to get much quicker than that you will need to bump up the power to 250ish atw.

Thanks guys. A bit more tweaking to my alignment and suspension and I hope to get into the 1:45's at the next round on 29/08/10.

Then I have to go shopping for new tyres and prepare a good "to do" list in preparation for next years supersprint champs.

Was thinking of changing it to improved production spec with 36mm restrictor and other changes so I have a better chance of winning a class. At the moment I only qualify to meet 4D sports sedan rules and I have little chance of beating R35 GTR's. If I can achieve similiar power and slightly better torque, and run the same if not better lap times in class 3D, I might have a shot. Plus if I ever want to go door to door racing in IPRA, it's all ready to go. Just need to make up my mind before modifying the car much further.

That was where i was taking my car before i got over it...

I was going to go the restrictor with E85 and i figured it would be close to the power i had, proably with more torque.
