Looks great, Chef.

Did you need to remove any part of the kit for compliance?

I fitted the driver's side recaro the other day. I'm still awaiting the passenger one. Man they totally transform how you feel in the car...soooo much more than I thought they would! I feel so much more in control!

Hmmm - might be on the export certificate, or you could look at the auction sheet, that should tell you, too.

As much as I'd like the look, the height it's at now is at the very limit of practicality. Which is exactly where I want it to be, it JUST clears gutters and those concrete things in parking spots. That's as low as I'll go :) The ride is really firm but can still be smooth depending on how you drive. Bilsteins rule :D

For shits n giggles really

I found a site for custom jap plates (US based); would be good for extra show

obviously they won't have the right characters (Nagano only by the looks), but the numbers the same would be neat

Hmmm - might be on the export certificate, or you could look at the auction sheet, that should tell you, too.

I don't have any of that for my car (a verban import  )

Otherwise I may just make some numbers up anyway, I believe my car would be in class 50-59? ('89 550cc private car)

Nice rims Matt. Been away for a while. Just dropped in to check who is alive and who isn't. ;)

Just recieved the usual email from Prestige informing prospective buyers of the V36.

Personally, the V36 coupe looks quite similar to the V35 one except for the lights.

I like the V36 sedans and might be looking to aquire one in coming year when prices are lower............ (hint hint Chef)

The new power plant looks impressive and the all wheel steer does appear to be quite effective.

How would the service costs of a Galant VR4 (EC5A) compare to a TE Magna?

Can you run them on normal unleaded?

Not if you want them to last. It's the same with pretty much all Jap imports. Run them on 98 so they're as close to the fuel they're used to.

They'll cost more in servicing due to their rarity and the fact that not all parts are available in Oz yet. They're a much higher performance car compared to the TE and thus will require more frequent servicing to maintain their higher level.

Just bumping this up to let you know that, of the next issue of HPI (actually, just PI now...), I've got a regular gig as a columnist. If you read it regularly, then keep an eye out ;)
