Tried researching but the general consensus was that nobody knows the actual ammount of Autech s15's were made.

Does anyone know or has heard anything about it?

Had to start my P's again and copped the new shit laws.
Planning on building a sr det in the mean time though and swap it over with a power fc tuned for that engine for track days.

is it really worth it? just get a track car and save your money for when you do get off your Ps cos by that time s15 prices would have dropped.

Yea, IMO resale value for these will always be there.
I believe they'll drop price slower than a spec R due to the rarity and the demand from P platers.

Plus because it runs all spec R running gear I assume I can drop in a built sr20det and an ECU with that engines tune for track days and swap back for daily driving (correct me if I'm wrong).

I'll probably be getting a dedicated track car this year sometime anyway. As I'm 21, money isn't as much of an issue as it is for a fresh 18 year old on their P's so I can afford a nice daily and a track car instead of a shitbox and track car.
